Unfortunatly when I woke up this morning I realized my room reeked of the vaped weed I was saving to cook so I put all of it in a little tylenol PM box. After getting distracted I put the tylenol PM box on the floor of my room and went upstairs. After about an hour I realized I couldnt find my dog and when went to my room I found that she was in there and had ate almost an 1/8th of the vaped herb. I feel so bad for her because at first she was getting real sick and now shes just laying around and having trouble keeping balance when she stands up. I hope she'll be okay, I'm sure she will... but damn I can only imagine whats going through her head right now. Dogs were def. not meant to eat herb.
Lots of dogs do get high though. My old dealer's dog would get mad if you didn't include him in the rotation, and he'd eat roaches out of the ashtray.
You can get high by straight eating weed, it just takes more weed and time. Dogs have different metabolisms and smaller bodies. They're like 1/3 our size.
No I know what your saying about some dogs loving it... but humans dont even like to eat too much pot... that shit is so uncomfortable, especially when your not expecting it. Shes doin fine now, just dozin' off and hangin out, def had me worried for a bit there.
A. THC is only oil and alcohol soluable, meaning if it's not combined with oil or alcohol you won't get high. Don't believe me? Eat some raw weed. B. I doubt if dogs have THC receptors in their brains like humans do. c. "Vaped" weed is worthless. Vaporizers remove the THC (which is their purpose. It's worth about as much as ashes.
No you guys def dont know what your talking about.. all mammals have cannabinoid receptors and herb has a lot more active chemicals in it than thc... it is the other cannabinoids found in the herb and various cannabinoid combinations in different strains that give us different highs. The vaporizer mostly removes the THC which when makes it so that I can cook with already vaped herb and it still gets kids high just in a very strange way because there are other chemicals still active in the vaped bud. As for it being alcohol and fat soluable thats true but my dog is most def. high... her eyes are red as hell and shes laying around. Somehow it affected her without alcohol or fats... just plain vaped herb and my vape doesnt suck its a volcano.. one of the better vapes on the market.
You can definitely eat raw hash. I have done it many times, the most stoned I have ever been was after eating an eighth of Kasmiri hash on the ferry coming back from Amsterdam.
its not about extracting the THC. its about making a chemical change. weed, when growing, forms the chemical THCA(tetrahydrocannabinolic acid), which isn't psychoactive. the possess of curing/drying changes this chemical, through decaboxylation, into THC, which as we all know is psychoactive. not all of the THCA turns to THC during curing. in some buds there will bee a much higher concentration of THCA then THC. the heat from the lighter, vaporizer, or what not will make the chemical change. so, if the dog ate finely cured 1/8 of dank bud straight, it would defiantly feel it. if it ate a poorly cured yet vaped 1/8 it is possible that the dog could feel something, depending on the amount of THC left in the vaped weed.
My dog loves to get high. As soon as she sees my pipe her tail starts wagging and she runs over to me. My friend's cousin has a cat that will always scratch at their bedroom doors whenever it smells weed. Strange stoner animals.
I got my cat high once, just to show her the experience, and she enjoyed it, but she doesn't like to do it anymore. She won't even be around me when I'm smoking a bowl. Oh well. When I get another cat, I can start young.
So is the doggie alright then? My dog came out into the living room with my stash in her mouth once... She had quietly gone into my room and snuck it out. Dropped at it my feet, she did! Ah... cute.
