It annoys me that...

I can't be JUST FRIENDS with a guy...because they always end up liking me. I really hate that, too, because I get along much better with men than with women. I find it EXTREMELY hard to be friends with a guy and then start liking him as MORE than a friend...because then it's like...dating your brother...and that's gross.

Does anyone else have this problem? Every guy that I have been friends with at the University I go to has ended up professing their crushes...and then when I say I can't think of them as more than a friend they disappear for awhile.

I tried dating a guy friend from the University and it was a big fat disaster...I think our friendship was severly damaged from it...after we broke up we had to start our friendship all over again...and we're just now starting to get back to "normal".

Any advice on what to do? I mean...how can I keep a guy friend JUST a guy friend without them getting the wrong feelings????

I guess it's useless, though...it's not like we can control how others feel.

 

Hang out with some guys who know they're cooler then you.

I'm buzy, but I'm sure you can find some other guys.

Yes who knew all that time you were growing up and lookin good that it would end up being a curse. It would shut down a mans mind and make he use his other little head to control his functions.

I think if you maybe once a week just kick em in the nuts it might fix this problem for ya. You know like a medical treatment, just walk up and (WHAM) let em know your doing it for your friendship.

I hate that too! its really annoying. its hard to make friends with girls, and i like to hang with guys. except i always feel like i am leading them on or something, even if im not flirting at all and we're just hanging out.

ive had that happen too.. one of my guy friends who i got along REALLY well with basically professed his love for me (knowing i have a live-in boyfriend) and then it was just really akward after that. it sucks. now i am here by myself for the summer and the only people who come talk to me are guys. i want people to hang out with, but im scared to do stuff with them because i dont want it to seem like a date. seriously.. i feel you..it sucks
