my best friend and her fiance lost everything in a fire that burned down their entire apt. building...36 families lost everything they owned that afternoon..and even some lost their pets..my friend has nothing left but the clothes on her back..it's a sad sad thing...i helped them out as much as i can...gave them clothes, toothbrushes, saline solution etc...Everyone has helped them out sooo much...but it is soo hard on them...they had three cats that were in the apt when it burned....mary jane, marley, and jack straw........today kelly found jack in the woods near the apt...he was burned and his paws were in bad shape...we r still on the hunt for the other two kittys...here is a picture of where there apt used to be....(top right corner of the building was there apt.)
that's horrible. im sooo sorry. everytime i worry about a fire, i think about my kitties... im not exactly on the first floor so i dont know what id do. *hugs to you and your friend*
Wow,,,, That is a totally sucky deal, send Kelly and Mike my condolences on their loss, and I hope they find the other two kitties alive and well. I can’t think of two chiller people that something that shitty could happen to. I hope they had insurance on some of their belongings, or that the apartment owner will help them out in some way. At least all that was lost was material things, and they’re both safe and sound...
that totally sux, sorry to hear about your friend... one year, when I was 14 or 15, there was a house on my street that burned down on Christmas day... no one was hurt or anything, but it burned right to the ground... it was really sad...
there was this single mom living in a trailer with her three girls, and it burned down christmas eve. that was really sad. they needed everything to live. thankfully someone brought her to our church (when i was still going). between all of us we managed to get her absolutely everything she needed, including school clothes for her girls. the nice thing is everything she got was brand new, as opposed to old and busted.
Well, Jack is alive and well...he is still hurting though...Kelly found Marley..but they had to put him to sleep because he had magets.. Mary Jane is still out there..dead or alive..we do not know.. Kelly and Michael have gotten ALOT of clothes...they have a bed, table, and couches lined up...they also have recieved a few thousand dollars in charity donations so things are going as best as they can at a time like this... And kit..they are very touched to hear that you care! IM me sometime...
That really sucks. Sorry. Fires are always horrible. Its good theyre getting everything in lined to get back to normal. Good luck to them.
