I disagree, I've known many AIDS sufferers and many find the whole concept to be ludicrously funny. And you're trying to tell me what is funny? What, are you some kind of fascist? Stop taking life so seriously. Everyone dies. So what if HIV is a death sentence? So is life. Without death, there would be no room for new life.

Why are you people so afraid of death? Most of the people here have done psychedelic drugs, right? Can't you see that there's a world beyond our concerns that we're all a part of? Death and life are part of the same process of existence. It's all part of mother nature's big plan.

But I have a message and a purpose for being here: That everyone's afraid to die, and they spend their entire lives trying to avoid thinking about it! And they get scared and react with anger at anyone that reminds them of this.

Having and showing respect for someone with a deadly disease and fearing death are two different things altogether...

 

How do I disrespect them? By not treating the subject like its some big scary thing that you're supposed to offer condolence after condolence about 24/7? AIDS exists, and I suggest we laugh at it. We people think we're so great and evolved, but one broken condom, and we're toast. That to me is hilarious: break a condom, and not only can you create new life, you can actually end up dead because of it. See? Death and life are joined at the hip. It's all good.

OK, sure, we're all afraid of death, in our reptilian brains, yes. But we as a species have let this consume us to the point where it controls us, and makes us miserable, and makes us start up religions like Christianity, Judaism, and Islam which allow other people to control us through our fear of non-existence. This is unacceptable in my view. Why don't we all just try to overcome our death-fear instead of cowering in front of it?

 

AIDS can be pretty funny. Not here though, it just sounds cruel.
