Nationals 2007

So I left before they announced where nationals will be in 2007. My question is can anyone tell me where it will be? I'm hoping that it's somewhere on the east coast because it was a journey and a half to get out to CO! We broke down 8 times! This was my first gathering and I felt like I was at "home." I can see myself at nationals every year of my life.

I heard rumours of Wyoming....but given that I live in Great Britain I wouldn't take my word on it.

 

I can't wait to hear, too. Talk was of Washington, Wyoming, and South Dakota. Care to make a hippie bet?

 

hummm washington would be nice, blah southern wyoming is the worst strech of land I've ever driven on, the I-80 anyways so if there I hope for northern.... South Dakota???? humm no clue on up theres...

all of those would be nice but i heard that for the most part it wouldn't be in washington because they aren't able to find an area big enough they scouted that area when they were scouting for the utah gathering in 04

 

what about colorado?

what about the east coast? It's soooooo hard for us east coasters to get out to the middle of nowhere land.

 

they usually do a 2 westcoasts and than an eastcoast since its ahrder to find a location on the east coast and since there just was one on the east coast-west virginia its most likely going to be in the southwestern part of the u.s

 

What about the Midwest- Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan? Theres alot of big woods up here, and its closer to the east coast.

 

I heard a rumor of minnesota while I was onsite, but nothing more.

I also saw you bumble walking out on the road on the morning of the 5th or 6th as I was riding past. i thought about stopping and saying hello, but you and your group seemed to be moving fast, and I had a armfull of groceries from town i was bringing in.

 

i left the 7th. vision council last i heard was discussing the viability of using private land in washington. council wasnt over yet tho, and i had a plane to catch. ne1 know definitively?

 

hmmm may be someone will know when I go to the rigional in Vermont in Augest. Washington would be nice.

 

Hmmm; private land; sounds like that could really turn into a fiasco given the events we've heard rumors of with the LEOs in recent years...it's way easier to pull a raid on private land

What we need is a Rainbow Incident Command Manual like the LEOs have for us so that we have our own code of solutions to the situations that may arise at a Gathering

 

i just read pacific NW over on agr, so it looks as if i'll have an excuse to visit the area next summer.

 

So right now all we know is that there is alotta talk of Washington State, when it all gets sorted out and the hippies figure it all out someone let me know I got less than a year to figure out how to get me, WanderingturnupII, and our baby to the next Nationals, it'll be much eaiser to figure it all out when I know where we're going.

I hope that OK isn't the picked state because i heard the law enforcement are hardcore. Arkansas would be nice!

ewww Texas would be not a good idea look what happened last time there was a Texas gathering Law enforcement drove right into the gathering site and right through main circle on the 4th No-Guns tried to stand in there way saying they shouldn't drive through our church because we don't drive through theres and they ran her over so even though that would be really close to be and awesome i really hope its not there.
