Governmental systems and stuff piss me off so bad most of the time. That seems to be the typical run around and too fucking bad mentality they have.

i'm not giving up. I'm just frustrated. I have an IT open house event coming up and i'm praying on that. I tried on my suit last night with a strong girdle and i don't look pregnant. if I get the job, I'll just work my ass off for a month, then tell them, and hope they are impressed enuff to keep me on.

although i'm not sure how safe it will be for the baby if I continue to wear the girdle but I know how unsafe it will be to remain unemployed....I'll probably ask my doc or research it on the net.

but for now, that's the plan

wow that really sucks!! I knew how hard it would be to find a job already pregnant and it frustrated me but I didn't have a family to take care of while I was pregnant so it must be REALLY frustrating for you. I am sorry you have to hide your belly. But I really hope you get the job and with your determination I don't see how anyone who hired you wouldn't keep you. hehe. my mother has been praying for that our entire lives. we do tend to disappoint, but at least we make her laugh.

 

i was thinking about trying to work at home just until the baby is born, just so I can afford baby stuff but it seems like everything is a scam or you need a lot of money to even get started

Ugh, I don't really know what to tell you. I wouldn't suggest asking for money from someone because:

(a) You seem too proud for that, which I consider a good quality.
(b) It's not a good idea to owe someone something.

Here's an idea though: Go to the bank with your pregnant belly in full view and rag them out for fucking up your check and make a fantastic scene -- the tears, the horror story, etc. Even if you don't get the whole thing straightened out, it'd be great to ruin their day. If you think every woman in the building won't be on your side...
