Opening North Koreas economy would do little for the US, it's primarily an agricultural state.

North koreas economy should be open to Asian trade to help them avoid the famines which so cruely effected them in the 90's. Around 2 million people starved.

It is not about the US, it is about undermining any alternatives to capitalism and creating new consumerism bases and flooding them with useless products. In a few years you will see MacDonalds, and other fast food places all over Iraq. Corporations are flying to China not because they love it, it is because it is a huge market. A billion consumers and cheap labour.

The whole point of corporatism is that people cannot produce for themselves they need to be taken care of, so any society that rises to counter this principle it becomes an enemy. Corporatism wants people to be depended instead of independent so it can exploit their desires, needs, and wants for profits.

North Korea doesn't have an alternative. It has no industry, almost no trade, no personal freedoms, and frequent famines.

There may be an alternative to our economic system, but North Korea isn't it. They simply force their whole population into substance farming and military industry. It is government mandated slavery.

Or so the west would have you believe.
It's exactly what I was taught Russia was like, when I was in school in the 60's.
Until my sis visited Moscow in '66. I asked her what it was like. I expected to hear of enslaved people drudging around. She said "a lot like Stockholm."

What is worse Corporate mandated (which exists in the western world) slavery or government?

Never mind, slavery is slavery.

People in the west are paid wages, while far from a perfect system, is better then forced labor.

Sweden forcibly sterilized tens of thousands of people in the 60's to make the country more nordic.

Most of the brunt of the famines that hit ths soviet union hit in the 30's during the 5 year plan. These hit more rural areas much harder then major cities like Moscow.

The Russian federation was a large indutrial power before its communist movement, while Korea was largely an agrarian society. Comparing 1960's Moscow with 1990's North Korea isn't logical.

Sweden didn't sterilize people to "make (Sweden) more nordic."
They sterilized mental defectives and people with hereditary defects, something that was also done in Germany in the 30's and the U.S. in the 1930's--1950's.

Sterilization programs happened in Canada, the US, and many many european nations through the 1930's and 1940's. The Sweedish program was particularly strong and continued through the 70's, and non nordic undesired racial groups we're specifically targeted. Not just people with mental deficiencies.

And I'm not saying you meant this, but the way you typed it sounded like 'they only sterelized retarded people.'

If you google it, a few websites say it was on display at the british museum. They don't mention the timeframe, reference it, or say what happened to this important document.

Nor do they mention why he had used a shorthand term for a political party which didn't exist for 40 years later. 'websites date it 1871.'

It's good to know this world controling 'jew' group can't fuck with google. [IMG]

i had searched and saw both sides, but more evidence on the side saying it was never displayed at the british museum.

every site i've seen claiming it was displayed (except one) uses the exact same wording: "For a short time, this letter was on display in the British Museum".

Although if there is a conspiracy, it does further my contention that google is, in fact, god.

i guess the only way to settle this is a good ol email to the museum itself. i'll post the response when it comes.

Of course the Albert Pike letter is a fake.

The question I find interesting is why Rat is so willing to believe in this stuff? I mean he complains that people just seem to accept what Fox News puts out, but then offers up as an alternative so much utter rubbish.

(PS NoVictim, if you don't get a response, i'll nip over to the BM and see what i can do)

How do you know it's fake, Balbust? Did you validate the claim yourself that it's fake?
