I'm headed to Ozzfest next Saturday.I'm bring one of my friends. Iono what to expect. Anyone else been to Ozzfest?
yup and im going in a few weeks, now that theyre finally coming back to canada. Though, ozzys not playing here this year I would expect lots of metal and lots of fun. Specially if you have floor tickets
If you are going to the UMB Bank Pillvillon. Seeing as you are in STL. Expect nothing to be organized and too miss a few bands you want to see. Also expect for it to be super hot. Expect food and drink prices to be out the ass. Also expect to have a wicked sun burn. But above all, expect to have a good time. Love.
I'm not goin to ozzfest, I'm going to the unholy alliance 2 tour. i am waiting in extreme anticipation for that shit to arrive.
Im probably going this summer.. not for shor but yeah i went to it in stlouis in 03 and 04. 03 i felt like i was going to die of heat exhaustion..but 04 was actually really cold. this is missouri, whatever anybody tells u anything about wether, just ignore them and bring suntan lotion and a jacket.. yeah the prices are a major pane in the ass. but i did get free sample cds and condoms 2nd stage is fun as all hell. go crowdsurfing. do it. just watch out when the moshs get really heavy, sometimes there may be 3 circle pits going at a time, andu could get stuck in the middle of em. it can be very scary for a small girl, but the guys are usually very protective to the females.. be careful what seets u get, cause the UMB has a few huge pillars holding up the pavilion, and they may block your view.. i highly advise to just get pit tickets... because it truly kicks ass.. and when u hear the words 'I cant fucking heear yooou" scream like a mofo cause the prince wont come out otherwise.. so yeah. its a blast drink water not lemonade dont let the frozen lemonade stands tempt u H20 IS THE WAY TO GO
I went to the first Ozzfest this year in WA. It was so fucking good. If you like Black Label Society prepare to be impressed cuz Zack Wylde is god at guitar. During Ozzy he played with him and in the middle of the song did a guitar solo about 7 mins long. It was insane. All the other bands were pretty good too. I didnt see Atreyu or Norma Jean out of choice, but the top bands are probably The Red Chord, Strapping Young Lad, Black Label Society, System of a Down, and of course Ozzy himself. And like the above poster said, definitely mosh at second stage. So much fun. Keep rocking, everyone.
Yeah. I'm going tomorrow. I'm bringing one of my stronger guy friends with me. Then we're meeting up with one of his buddies. So I think if I do go mosh, I'll be fine.
I went yesterday and it owned. BLS gave an insane performance with great moshes. Then the next highlight was SOAD. They are fucking great. BUT it was like a heat index of 110-115. A lot of people were passing out from dehydration. Overall... It was great. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
Yeah. I went last Saturday. It was amazing. I had a great time, aside from the heat. But it was really fun. The mainstage was amazing. I saw a few people on the second stage but it was hard to get up there. It's really funny to see a huge crowd of people screaming "Big Sweaty Titties." every 30 minutes. Ah...Yeah. I'm deff. going next year.
ozzfest is gonna b shit this year, that's y i'm not going, the only good bands that i've heard r playing r korn/ system of a down...& ozzy's not evn gonna play @ it so what's the point?
lol our phrase of the day was 'Pussy Lickers" and that was funny as shit too. And the dude above, Korn isn't gonna be there and Ozzy did play. Kick yourself in the throat.
