1. he is not highly intelligent, as some other presidents were. 2. He's out for all the rich people, and doesn't care about the sick, downtrodden, or homeless. 3. He declares ilegal wars way too quickly. 4. His war on drugs is a war on grass, but he lets coke and meth go. 5. He has the vocabulary of a 10 year old. Can anyone list more faults to this particular sonuvabitch?
6. He's accomplished nothing on his own; he would be a nobody without his daddy's support. 7. Everything he's ever been involved in has been a miserable failure, and now he's doing it to this country.
8. He clearly has no memory of anything he says, else he wouldn't perpetually contradict himself and look even more like a total ass.
I was going to keep the list going, but TS is not entirely correct. He graduated from Yale there buddy. Not really. He graduated from Yale there buddy. There is nothing illegal about the war in Iraq. The passing of the "Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002," which every single senator and represnetative voted for, gave President Bush the authority to take whatever military action that he wanted to take against Iraq. Blame your representatives and senators for that one. I don't like Bush, but come on, there are better things that you can do than show just how little you really know.
Yes there is. Most of it coming down from the Westphalia treaty which has determined a state's rights ever since.
The treaty/ies of Westphalia is/are a nice thought... but I see it as hardly being valid today. Even after all the treaties were signed pretty much every signing nation went on to invade and occupy other countries for various reasons. Real international law would require a worldly governing body (which, in turn, would eliminate the term "international" --- UN doesn't count, obviously --- but it would have to include the various court systems and legislative houses or parliament), and a worldly police force that could enforce said law. The EU is something of an example of this, but not quite.
Chuck, one day you'll learn that not all political legitimacy comes from the barrel of a gun. The laws have been created, and whether or not they are enforcable, they still exist, and they still have been broken.
He cut funds to health care and education and environment, and gave tax breaks to the weathiest people.
Why should the American government (or anyone, for that matter) abide by the treaties of Westphalia? How many countries' leader signed the treaties that became the Westphalian treaties, 5 or 6? Out of how many in the whole wide world at the time? America's "ancestor," the British, did not even have a part in signing any treaty. International law can only be achieved with a majourity of the world's nations agreeing on what bills become laws, or with a one world government (which, like I said, would make the term "international" obsolete ). There is no such thing as international law.
umm when you turn the W upside down it makes a sorta m shape....which makes it hard for people who are learning to write.... ohhh okay sorry i just could not help myself...it's just this trend seems so serious ohhh @ nudeinthesand okay i will stop writing *goes*
because you disagree with a law doesnt mean it wasnt broken. I disagree with cannabis laws, but by possesing cannabis, i am breaking them.
Laws can be based upon traditions as well as written documents (not that these traditions haven't been rehashed in other treaties which America has signed). And don't kid yourself - the US supports the idea of state sovereignty being the only valid law. Chuck, I gotta tell you, you have no idea what you're talking about here. Go take an International Relations class or something. Because this last paragraph pretty much denies that, say the WTO, even exists.
If theer is no international law for them to abide by then American politicans and spin-doctors should not mention those 'fake' laws, but they do.
