oh rock on... I love swimming. And I'm sure Moire won't mind someone else holding her while mommy partakes in the pleasure.

We have a tent for ourselves, lots of blankets we could bring maybe. a cooler, maybe another cooler we could borrow.

As far as camping cooking gear, should we all consolidate down to maybe enough for one cook-site? I'd hate for three griddles to show up and never get used. Maybe we should think about a tentative menu so that we know better what needs to be brought/bought. I vote for smores.

 

well, I will do some shopping first, but im gonna buy rabbit food to better accomidate everyone.
my place is only a few minutes away, so we can store stuff here, and i believe *littlebit* has a frig we an use

Well, we could do a mass breakfast (omelets in the bag, Holly), but it's hard to plan otherwise not knowing how many will show. So, other than the breakfast, we will bring food for ourselves and what we need to cook it.

 

sounds like a good idea, but im sure betty wont mind if we cook breakfast in the kitchen, shes a sweet old woman, who realy likes having good folks around.
btw, i have a few bicycles but ya'll might want to consider bringing yours, you can get almost anywhere in this town on a two very cleverly designed paved bike trails, even though they go right through town, they still have the feel of being very rural, and depending on where your going there often the fastest way to get anywhere

 

I've been thinking for one lunch or dinner we could make potato stew...cut up a 10 lb. bag of taters with other ingrediants like onion, bell peppers, carrots, whatever, something that both the vegetarians and predators would like! Does anyone have a pot big enough?

 

Just so happens that step-son picked us up a huge camping pot this weekend at a garage sale. (what a good boy!). We could bring that for yall to use.

heard about these hidden hot springs not far from here, its on blm land and the camping is free, at least some of us should go camp there a night or so, or at least go visit. Nudity is traditionaly allowed there however, so you might want to keep that in mind
