    Hello guys,
does anybody know how problematic is to get some smart things out of A. by schipol airport (to czech-prague)?
I don't want to take shrooms or other stuff, just san pedro growkit and probably mushroom (mexican) growkit. And of course also some cannabis seeds :)
does any of this stuff cause problem if found?
I will definitely try to hide those cann seeds (maybe just some pocket in jeans or shirt or something, it's really small) but what about other stuff?
is there need to hide spores/san pedro seeds also?
Or to throw away everything that resembles shrooms/cacti (like on plastic wrapping) and act as good soil buyer ? (with hidden seeds/spores) :)
I am also worried because we will be there for 3 days, and no way i am not going to smoke after hotel departure/before flying home :H So i will smell of cannabis (maybe vaporised) from a mile to skilled police dog.
    Thanx for any info

I used to travel every week back and forth from Amsterdam to the UK (I live here now). Inevitably my clothes always reeked of grass from the White Widow I carried around in my top pocket all weekend.

Police dogs at airports do not seem to care if you smell particularly green - you see a lot of dogs now but I guess they are mainly looking for terror stuff. I have had an ounce of hash on me (and the usual weed-reeking fleece) and not had any reaction from the dog (even when I - perhaps unwisely - stroked it as part of my method acting that I was not a nervous drug smuggler.).

I wouldn't worry about getting stuff out of Amsterdam - it's getting it into your destination country that's the challenge - that's when they are more likely to look for naughty stuff. In general the worry with Smart products or smoking paraphenalia us that they might flag you up to customs for a more intimate search (nice!).

I think you'd be fine with what you want to carry. Just don't wander through customs sweating or looking nervous or you'll be sprading your legs at the least!

and what about salvia divinorum (http://www.consciousdirect.com/?lan...category_id=cd38636b7c937058bb8b4d36ecd9b1c5&)
    - i mean small plant, not some extracts ? Could this plant be disguised for
something similar in look, commonly known (by police) so I won't be searched automatically when i show up with this plant in my hands ? Any experience with this 'problematic' appreciated ;)

I ask about this stuff because I can get to cannabis at home, but none
of these things can be aquired (maybe randomly, but I don't want to rely
of some over-stoned guys. And also I demand quality, not risking shroom poisoning :))
    thanx for post pixie_matt

Many countries prohibit the importation of plants. Heck, you can't even bring an APPLE into the United States, let alone a growing plant!

Approved products listed above include CANNED fruits, not fresh ones.

When we came back from A'dam last year, we had an apple with us, which my wife declared. They promptly escorted her into the secondary customs line, and searched everything she had, confiscating the apple. They said if she hadn't declared it and they had found it, she would have been fined.

    Fruits, Vegetables, Plants

Many fruits, vegetables, plants, cuttings, seeds, unprocessed plant products, and certain endangered plant species are either prohibited from entering the country or require an import permit. Endangered or threatened species of plants and plant products, if not prohibited from importation, will require an export permit from the country of origin. Every single plant, plant product, fruit, or vegetable must be declared to the Customs officer and must be presented for inspection no matter how free of pests it appears to be. Most canned or processed items are admissible.

Applications for import permits or requests for information should be addressed to: Permit Unit, USDA-APHIS-PPQ, 4700 River Rd., Unit 136, Riverdale, MD 20737-1236, USA.

Nope... the Customs folks said "No fruit is allowed, and be glad you declared it, or you would have been fined." I was pretty sure they were just using the apple as an excuse to have a thorough look at our bags. Later, I did some research, and sure enough, fresh fruit and plants from A'dam are confiscated upon return to the US.

To say the least, they probably wouldn't allow someone to bring in "smart drug" plants like Salvia divinorum ... [IMG]

Update: Found some more info on the Customs site:

OK thanx a lot guys, I see plant is not a good idea at all (and also problematic to carrying around). Few other questions about A.:
Weather in mid. september - i know it depends, but generally is it still like in the summer or should i bring something really warm for sure (and what about rain?) And vondelpark?
Does anybody know entrance costs of Anna Frank/Van Gogh/Rijks museums?
Is ISIC card for any use here?
And lastly, any suggestions where to put and where don't canna/cacti seeds and shroom spores?
