Im a male of Indian origin, and ive been going natural for a month now but I was wondering can people who are Indian get dreadlocks, can their hair matt?
before i started my dreads (btw they look good now),people were talling me my hair is gonna fall off coz its really thin!They wrre telling me not to do it,but i did it and i still have my hair on my head!
in some parts of india I believe it's a custom for men to have locks from childhood, but they keep them covered. your hair will mat beautifully, anyone's does. good luck

Thank you for the replies, I myself live in the UK so i have never seen an Indian person with dreadlocks, so thank you for telling me that my hair can matt. Also i don't wash my hair with shampoo or conditioner but i use this bar soap made from the 'neem' tree, will this 'neem' soap allow my hair to matt, will it leave any resuide?
