    Ya most mexicans ignore them since they have not really been too active since the mid 90s and the Zapatista movement is a movement directed to the rights of the Indian peoples of the Yucatan.

    I think with the election of Fox, they were pretty much rendered inconsequential. Certainly they represented the indigenous people of Mexico and they were actually developing a following, even in urban areas like Mexico City, but nothing much has been heard from them since.
