Ha ha. Sadly Skip thinks it's a bad thing to have outside links in your sig. Spam? You have to chose to click on that link. No one is forcing it on you.

According to the greatest thing the internet has given us, MediaWiki and their wiktionary section, internet spam can be one of two things: Noun spam (plural spams) 1. (uncountable noun) A collection of unsolicited bulk electronic messages. I get far too much spam. 2. (countable noun) An unsolicited electronic message sent in bulk, e.g. by email or newsgroups. I received 58 spams yesterday. "Unsolicited" is the key word here.... if you spin this definition a bit, he has a point.
It's not forced on you. Hence I can't see why it's called spam. Now if it's a person flooding forums with messages, then I could see an issue. The sig is completely harmless.
After having read http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=177101 it makes a lot more sense now. I've never seen a link to hipforums on any myspaces.
Um sorry, obviously I am missing the point? I don't want children to see porn or be linked to porn. I think that's what I said/implied.
