ya...i took mine down in my room back home along time ago...just didnt feel safe

plus, i didnt listen to the doors for a good year while i had it up

 

I think the doors are kind of overrated.

Honestly ...

The doors, zeppelin, the dead, janis, alman brothers ... any band who you can go to wal mart and buy a tee shirt with their name/face on is overrated.

Most of them happen to be my favorites ...

I just said they are overrated.

nor do they belong in walmart.

although the Doors is still killer. Morrisson was a wise man. not for naything he gave the name of his band from The doors of perception of Aldous Huxley.

A band doesnt sell out shows for almost 30 years because they are overrated
Do they really sell Grateful Dead t-shirts at Walmart?

Of course those bands are overrated, I'll even admit that...although Led Zeppelin is my absolute favorite. Even so, it is still classic music that deserves a lot of respect. Are you telling me they have shirts with them on it at Wal-Mart (I don't go to Wal-Mart)? If so, I am a little disappointed...they deserve better than Wal-Mart.

I just think that there are 12 year old kids walking around with Zeppelin t-shirts who could not even name 3 Zeppelin albums. Same with The Doors. When rock bands become fashion. they become overrated.

 

No, I agree with you . The only way I'd flame you is if you'd insult them and claim they are horrible music or anything. Who could ever say that about Led Zeppelin though?!

 

I agree with that. Also Pink Floyd. There are people that buy Floyd shirts just to wear them but ask them who Syd Barrett is and they would have no clue.

 

I see Pink Floyd shirts everywhere and on everyone. The Syd Barrett thing annoys me. There is a lot of "Pink Floyd fans" I know that have no idea who he is.
