Oldboy

Please say someone here has seen this movie...
If you havent, WATCH IT, its one of the most amazing movies I have ever seen.

It follows a guy who is abducted and put in a prison for 15 years than just released and given a cellphone and a wallet, its just, wow.. I just bought it yesterday and finished watching it today and am tempted to watch it again now.

 

That was a damn good movie. Long and tiring in parts, but good.

 

Yes. Great movie! The ending was perfect.

 

oldboy is addictively intense!

 

it's disgusting, but I kinda loved it when he ate the live octopus. he was hardcore, man

 

Yea that was crazy, he had to eat 4 of them to film that scene.

I freaking cant get enough of it, the movie is just SO GOOD! I really love the score too.

 

There's already a remake in the works.

Oldboy is actually part of a trilogy by that particular director: Chan-wook Park

Oldboy is the first I believe -- it's called his trilogy of vengeance, and I don't believe the stories are related beyond their overall theme of revenge. After Oldboy comes "Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance" and his latest was "Lady Vengeance".

If you like Oldboy, check them out.

 

Oldboy is the second, sympathy first, lady third.
I plan on picking them up, havent found em yet.
