Miss the first pill from the next pack?

hello...i was wondering, if i take the last pill from my birth control pill pack, and then miss the first pill from my next pack, what should i do???

use a condom.

 

your bc should come with a packet of info on what to do if you miss a pill
usually it's take one as soon as you remember and the second at your usual time
But again, there should be a paper sheet wtih info on it as to waht to do when you forget a pill

 

make sure you use back up birth control this month!

 

If you miss one pill it is not usually an issue Your hormone levels in your blood should still be high enough to prevent pregnancy. You should take a missed pill as soon as you remember you missed it. If it is already close to the next day, follow the directions on your pack. If you lost the paper, call any pharmacy and a phatmacist can tell you how to go about it. What brand of pill you use may play a role in what is safe for you to do.

 

The brochure that came with my pills (Ortho Tri-Cyclen) said if I miss a pill to take two the next time around. Like....take the pill I didn't take then take the pill I'm supposed to take. I never missed one, so I don't know whether it really matters or not. But, I'd say use a condom this month, just to be safe.
