Who cares what a person wears. I get annoyed with some Hippies using Pagansim to ferther their earthy views. It's religion. You don' take bits a peices of it to fit your needs.
Not eveything is all light and happy. These people have never even studied ancient Druids, Romans or Greek. Just think it's a tree hugging religion.
I'm not saying all do. I am just pointing out the ones I have met.
Both of my parents are Pagan from Ireland
I guess I have old pagan roots and I don't like them used carelessly.

no, i don't think a lot of "hippies" follow religion, at least i don't. but what's wrong with adopting certain veiws to ones personal philosophy? i for instance, have a buddhist philosophy, but i don't have a religion

 

Well, then don't be like my friend and go to a gathering and be shocked that there are rituals going on praying to the gods and no pot smoking.

What are you even talking about? Who cares about clothes. I think people should wear whatever they want. Trying to dress in a "hippie" way is more conformist than just dressing how people want. You shouldn't expect everyone to be the same.

i think that that's what im saying. i dont try to dress hippie. most of the time i dont look like a hippie. people should dress how they want, but at the same time, they should be themselves. i hate all the "punk" kids who listen to avril lavigne and have brittany spears posters and never heard of the sex pistols

I don't know what the real definition of a hippie is but heres mine: Someone thats cool, openminded, and doesnt fit into conformity. This has nothing to do with what people wear, act, or do

Oh yeah, and has respect for nature

 

But If you wear, act and do like everyone else you DO fit into conformity

 

you look alot younger than 21

 

that is why you wear what you want to wear. dont worry about trying to dress like other people, if you end up dressing like other people oh well. just dont go out copying them, be yourself....
