Nut brown Ale again, possibly something else when I go to the bar. Any suggestions?

    Jagermeister and diet root beer.

Fixed! lol. The spelling is weird on the bottle, so I went by pronounciation.

Tonight it's Magic Hat's 'Blind Faith', which I think is, by far, their best beer. This is one smooth, quaffable IPA.

well, i got let out of work early, so i swung by the liquor store and picked up a bottle of samuel smith's nut brown ale...you guys talking about it got me wanting it, it had been a while....it was a tough choice between that and a few others, though.

after that was a bottle of mcewan's scotch ale. now i'm on my last drink of the night, my second bottle of smithwick's

Smithwick's is banging man. I might have to pick some up. From what I hear they have Anchor Steam down in Myrtle Beach, SC so Im gonna have to grab as much of that as I can, since they only sell the christmas Ale around here for like a month.

BTW, nesta, are you into MF Doom on his own? If you like Dangerdoom you should check out some of Madlib's stuff, like Madvillainy which is him and Doom together. That is, if you haven't already lol

i havent heard more than one or two songs of mf dooms (love dangerdoom though....a nice change from mainstream rap....i'd have thought an adult-swim themed album would be rediculous, but instead its just fun)

anyway, tonight i had an oj and gin, now its a gin and tonic....later maybe a strawberry daquiri and then i've got two beers (one mcewan's scotch ale left, and one 12oz. taddy porter)

I'm just gonna be gulpin' on a 12 pack of 211 tonight. I'm confused though. I bought the silver cans, and on the can it says that it is 8.1% alc/vol. I thought only the black cans were 8.1% and the silver cans were 6.0%. The other night I bought the silver cans and it said 6.0%, but now it's saying 8.1%. Oh well, more alcohol for me.

i'm not getting too fucked up today. had to get up early to go to work (4:30AM, clocked in around 4:56) and i'm getting some extra hours tomorrow (want more time because lord knows i love my holiday pay!)

drinking enough to remain tipsy, smoking some good herb from my new peice. its enough until i go to be early....

whew though. i've only had maybe four or five drinks since about 4 this afternoon, but wine just hits me like a ton of bricks sometimes.

well, so far tonight i've been drinking some homemade liqueurs....had a strongly spiced sweetened brandy liqueur with some soda water, then a cherry and soda....

now i've opened my chardonnay and i'm halfway through an almost-a-kir (kir made with a cherry liqueur instead of creme de cassis) and later i'll just have a glass of plain wine....

Kir + what? I loves me a good kir royale. I love Kir and sprite. Not fancy, I know, but still quite good.
A nice icey-cold New Belgium Skinny Dip followed by Scotch here.
