Im still thankful for the country I live in. I dont agree with alot of the things that is going on, or things that our country has done in the past, but still its a lovely country, and probably better than any other country out there. hail the 4th!!!!!!!

Everything that is a reaction to protesting in some fashion or another affects a lot of people. Burning an American Flag affects me because what has happened on 9-11 ( I'm a firefighter/paramedic). If you feel that burning an American Flag is a way to protest against the war/Bush then that is your right being an American. I do not agree with it at all. It just really makes me wonder if everone that has had a problem with our country that is a US citizen went out on election day and voted? I believe that people that do not vote, have no right to bitch. That is just my belief.................. ~namaste~
why don't you just light some fireworks and blow your hand off like the idiots I lived next to last July 4th? Isn't that what the day is all about? Getting drunk and blowing parts of your body off? Or is that only how they celebrate it in Clearmont County, Ohio?
haha I had a boss who was lighting mortar shells in his hand and tossing them (you know the ones that are supposed to go into a tube, that has bright coloured lights that shoot off in the air??)......... yeah, anyways, he had one go off in close proximity of him, and it hit him in the eye, his eye was swollen shut
