but im not entirely sure. so im going to wait untill i go home so i can take a picture of it and post it here for you experianced shroomers to help me see if they are hallucinagenic. but the only probl;em is that im not going home for about 3 weeks. will they still be good by then if i keep them in a plastic baggy in my bookbag? or should i do something to help them stay good?
they look similar to this. about the same height, grew in clusters. except the gills are white and the cap is lighter brown
http://morelmushroomhunting.com/psilo.jpg that is a better picture. almost identical. i think it might be Psilocybe cyanescens. but shroomery says they only grow in the pacific NW in cold weather. while im in Pittsburg and its probably 80 degrees Farenheit.
They could be Galerina Autumnalis, if it has white gills it is definetely not P. Cyanescans. G. Autumnalis is deadly poisonous, the only chance of survival being a liver transplant. I really hope you didn't eat them.
yes a lot of deadly shrooms have white gills... but the pics youve shown us are cyanescens , wavy caps. and if dried in normal temperature without a dehydrator or anything, sealing your shrooms in a plastic bag is a terrible thing to do, they will rot. i recommend to get a paper bag and simply put them in it.
im just gonnatrhow them out. cause cyanescans are supposed to have brown gills. mine have white. so they might be poisonous. and i dont really feel like dying
