Sometimes, I get really jealous of all you living in Ontario. You have regional things to talk about, concerts to see eachother at, etc. You should all feel really lucky to have eachother to network with and should do it as much as possiable. Having the option of being around people with the same, or simular, social-economic values and views as you do is truely a gift.

Ok.. carry on with your day.

I can't wait to leave this god-forsaken province.

    why do you hate it?

I love Saskatchewan because of the open nature of the land. I love that I can see the stars at night. I love that you can still find totally untouched land. I love our small population, and I love the farming culture.

I also hate the small population because it means my chances of having people around "like me" is also really small. I have a love/hate relationship with my province, but its mostly love.

I am jealous of you all from Ontario because you have people like you near by.. not because of the actual province of Ontario. I know I would never be happy in Ontario.

I think you could be very happy in Ontario. We have a great farming culture, and I can see the stars at night. I live in a small town outside of the city, so I get the best of both worlds.

Don't be jealous. There are people like you in Saskatchewan. You just haven't found an activist network, or the community you have in mind yet. It's there. Do not fret.

I love this name "Saskatchewan" for a town!

How can it not be cool?

Never having been there it makes me feel like it's a beautiful and desolate cold place, inhabited only by interesting people. The type of place you go to and fall easily and willingly into a kind of vortex... Where the situations that arise from meeting people are all a bit romantic, a bit mysterious, quirky and it's very laid-back at the same time.

But my impression based on just the name of the town, is probably way off the mark...

Saskatchewan is a Canadian Province; so much larger than a town.

Hey iced, have you ever been to Ness Creek? You should go this year if you can... sometime mid July, up near Big River (a bit N of PA), hippie fest
I've been a couple times, though I'm not going this year)

yeah, i've been a couple times. Can't go this year, as I am rather large for camping. Might have to go again next year though! It is probably the largest hippie-ish gathering in SK

Ahhh...right...I never actually looked it up because I was afraid of ruining my perfect little picture of it!
Anyway, my idea still stands for myself anyway, it's a great name for a Province.
    I feel a little goofy now...:&
