I don't know if i'd call it a cure, but drinking orange juice made me feel so much better the last time I had a hangover. :)

when you have a hangover, it usually means you are dehydrated, so drink tons of water, and orange juice helps also..Next time try drinking water before you go to bed..it may help you to not get a hangover! [IMG]

I was about to suggest a glass of water before you go to bed, it's preventative... Sage tea for the morning after helps calm your head... avoid caffeine for the first couple hours you're awake...

Heh...I'm suposed to be working right now--but no one has told me anything to do, so... Wow, I thought I'd feel terrible today, but I just feel kinda sorta bad...lol. Someone needs to replace the water thingy so I can get some water and such...mmm.

Just outta curiosity, why avoide cafiene for the first few hours? Is it because it will just further dehydrate me, or is it just too much for my body to handle after drinking or what?

a good cure is gatorade and tylenol. The gatorade has electrolytes which helps the tylenol get into the blood quicker or something. A drinking buddy told me that...heh.

It has always helped me to eat a big breakfast. Not so much that you are stuffed, but just enought to be comfortable. Oh, and also drink some water and take an asprin or two.

if you drink water before you go to bed, you wont wake up with a hangover. gotta fight that dehydration... if you already have a hangover, make sure to drink fluids, then smoke a bowl and eat some food. :]

Drink a few glasses of water (or even better, Gatorade for the electrolites) before bed, pop a vitamin B pill (B vitamins are needed to help the body cope with stress, including physical stress from exposure to ethanol, its metabolites, methanol (found in red wine and cognac), and sulfites (used to preserve many beverages), and drink caffiene in the morning. Caffiene is a metabolism starter to start breaking down all that alcohol. Depleted magnesium causes shaking, nervousness and tension associated with a hangover, and should be supplemented. Also, bouillon broth...A soup made from bouillon replaces water, electrolytes, and also some nutrients. It may help settle your stomach, too!

I was gonna have cafiene, but another reply said to wait a few hours before having any...and I was not sure why, but I could just figure it was only gonna dehydrate me more, so I didn't have any. But it would have been good to have some?

Caffiene does dehydrate you since its a diuretic. Vitamin B also is a metabolism booster, so if you have that, use it, but caffiene will start your engine also.

Yeah At The Pal is right. Best thing you can do is take lots of tylenol, drink gatorade, and eat some crackers.
