Caught with less then a gram of hash ..maybe jail time wtf?!

I was caught with less then a gram of hash @ school , and now that we have the concervative goverment in canada , some random law advizer told my rents that there might be jail time rofl...

anyone find this rediculise... we called a lawyer , and im giong to see him before court

im kinda scared as im 15

J/p, thats fuckign bullshit man. My friend got cuaght with 10 xanax and 2.5 grams of hash at school, in the US. He only got probation and kicked out of school. No jail time.

 

what province do you live in? if its ontario the law advisor is jsut tryionmg to scare you less than 30 grams of pot or less tahn a gram of hash and im pretty sure all they can do is fine you, you wont even have a record, especially at 15... now if you live in alberta, then i don't know...though i doubt it could be all that much worse

 

I live in ontario and the advisor told me i will either go to jail or get kicked out of school but all my friends go to my school and im a really friendly guy lmao im not ment for jail ... haha

nor do i really want to change schools i was just suspended for 5 days becasue i had to go to some Rehab lame program to cut my suspention from 10 days to 5 days but now i have a court date coming up ... i was wondering WHATS The worst they can do for like less then a gram of hash ... of course , i got a lawyer and all that for the court date but im scared , that i might getk icked outt of school and or go to jail

PLUS since i was already suspended they dont have any right to kick me out of school or can the judge actually decide to kick me out ... wtfuzzle :'(

ALSO was ur friend caught when the liberals where in power..someone told me since the lame concervatives are in , they want to push harsh punishment on teeens who start "drugs" early even though , i think thats the STUPIEST thing i have ever heard it makes sense and now im scared lol.. like im nervosue i cant eat anything and my court date is in a week... ughhhh iv been seeing my friends as much as possible LMAo its as if its my last week alive or somthing.

 

if its your first offense you should be fine, they may give you some community service hours or something not bad like that. good luck

Juvenile Detention here isn't bad. They just lock you in a big room for a while with bunk beds with other folks. Here they have a fucking t.v. It's usually just for about 72 hours after being arrested though, they don't put you in after court or anything.Just expect probation and possible classes.

 

You won't go to jail, but you also won't pass Go and you won't collect $200.

Serriously though, they just say that to scare the shit out of you, maybe in Indonesia, but no government in either Canada or the US is gonna spend the time and resources and the public relations battle to send a 15 year old to jail for a gram of hash.

 

I agree , but this case is complicated becasue i was caught with it @ school , and its funny im the only one who gets charged kids @ my school are caught with OUNCES and OUNCES of hash + weed , and Cocaine ... and no one gets arrested or charged that i know of

Yea man our school is fucked hard.. they find knifes in peoples lockers every day , cocaine isnt my drug , but marijuana is.

 

I think he meant that kids brought ounces of hash/weed and then a little bit of cocaine. I still find it hard to believe that kids are bringing "OUNCES and OUNCES" of anything into your high school. I also find it high unlikely that they caught anyone with a signifigant amount of hash/weed and then cocaine and didn't charge them, yet charged you with a gram of hash. I'm sorry man, but you have to start making your stories a little more believable.

 

Yeah I'd have to agree. I don't think any school in the US or Canada would let ounces of ANYTHING go by without a fine, suspension, etc.

o believe there are very many kids dumb enough to bring ounce to school our school was once filled with cops and dogs all day because apparently someone was bringing two pounds NO JOKE i couldnt believe but apparently they never showed up i got to pet doggies all day though

 

Yes yes I know people that would be stupid enough to bring an ounce to school but still no school is going to let that fly.
