California Ride

    I've never been but have always heard of this great family for at least 20 years ... time to come home I think.

    Coming from NorCal ... thinking about just driving it myself but if I can catch a ride might be better, can leave Fri eve June 30th or Sat July 1 a.m.

    just checking to see if this is a possibility. Can take 1 rider if they are willing to venture out in a 1973 Karmann Ghia for the long drive

    also have a '66 bus which might be more of an adventure knowing how they are and am not sure I want that adventure this time ... can always carry a floor jack and tools and spare parts ;) but its breaking down in the salt flats of Utah that always gets me down...

    from nocal ya got a relatively ez ride
    just lil note, the ghia may bottom out alot on the rocky bumpy road in..not sure what the roadsare like this year but just lettin ya know it might...
