would drying in a cooler work.. i know "cooler" and "drying" dont sound right ..but it seems logical if i dry it in an empty cooler in warm weather..just give me some thoughts and if it would work.. what would the "process" be?

    I don't quite understand.
If you mean with the cooler lid closed, of course it won't work--how would the moisture escape in a sealed environment?
If you mean with the lid open, what would be the purpose of putting the buds in a cooler?

The BESY way (and I've tried them all) is to manicure the buds as soon as harvested, then place them in a supermarket-type paper bag and crimp the top.
Then every day, open the bag and gently "comb" the buds with your fingers. Do this until the buds are almost dry enough to smoke, then it's time for curing.
