star-sign combatibility

i don't really care about it,although it's often true.

 

I really don't know what to think of astrology to be honest, I really don't know much about it. I remember as a child I was directed a little more towards the Chinese Zodiac, but for the most part we just looked it up for fun at Chinese restaurants. Anyways...I'm an Aquarius...I've only read a little bit about it before...

I have to agree with other people, I think astrology is cool, but I personally would not rely on it to determine relationship compatibility. I think my most interesting experience with astrology was at a friend's birthday party. One of the girls there (I've never met her before), asked me if she could observe me for a while to determine my sign. I thought it should be good fun, so I told her sure~!! She was sitting across the table from me the whole time. The part that shocked me the most was, a few minutes later she said, I think you're an "Aquarius", and my eyes grew wide and I was thinking "wow~!!". I smiled and laughed and told her she was correct...

So after seeing that I started to have a little more faith in astrology, since maybe people are right and we are unconciously representative of our sign.

 

i don't usually pay attention to star sign compatibility until i'm already in the relationship, then i just use it to see if it's accurate in any way.

 

Sun sign compatability in and of itself is virtually worthless. To assess real compatability requires two accurate birth charts, and the knowledge of how to read them, both individually and in relationship to one another (synastry).
Sometimes you can spot snags in the relationship that haven't come up yet, and prepare yourselves for the real work that will be needed to hold the relationship together. However, my experience is that people follow their hearts and glands more than their heads, so astrology is more of an afterthought. At best, it might save you from jumping into a foolish marriage that seems doomed from the getgo.

 

its not to whether i pursue a relationship or not, but if the guy matches his star sign then i might do things according to that.

My Dad and his girlfriend are suppose to be matched with Dad being Leo and his partner being a Gemini but they argue alot and never agree and it's very one sided with the Gemini always winning :H

Sun signs and their apparent best matches are :bs:, we must look deeper into astrology, moon sign, rising etc.

 

Yes, astrology is only as useful as you make it. Knowing someones or somethings natal information however, can give you a totally profound and explicit look into their/its inner dynamics, however it cannot tell you how spiritually developed a person is, and cannot replace interpersonal communication, or basic intuition. Its meant to work in analog with these things, of course.

 

Pisces ladies must be with Aries men - fullstop.

 

Some people are more in tune with themselves than others and they generally make good choices. Some others of us tend to be major fuck-ups and astrology can help us to see why and what kind of mistakes we are making over and over including in our relationships. But forget that sun sign approach. If you don't study the whole chart then it's just a parlor game.
