not realy a cult movie - but it didn't fit all the other threads. BLUEBERRY by Jan Kounen is western based on the comic blueberry from the '60 - '70 artist 'Giraud'. Prior to the filming of this comic book - Jan Kounen spent some time in the amazonian jungle - making a documentary on the sacred brew 'Ayahuasca'. After he came back they made a very psychedelic adaptation to the original comic of blueberry. So, expect a western with a normal story, eveolving to shamnistic messages ending up in some great psychedelic visuals! ... i loved the movie very much! guess it's like fear and loathing - you'll love it or you'll hate it...
the title IS Blueberry - wiseguy!! ... i saw the European release...BTW: it's a french Director ... so i guess his title suits the movie best.

Good movie actually! I like the way how the atmosphere is created. I found it on DVD and it's called Blueberry indeed.
Yeah well, the movie itself has actually nothing to do with the Amazonian jungle and be sure not to be sober when those cowboys are trippin', cause it isn't really interesting to watch that part with a clear mind.
Thanks for the heads up on this one folks, because of y'all I've just added this to my queue on Netflix....
