id say they were like metal/rap/funk.

yeah its a fucking shame they broke up, especially to form audioslave.

it pisses me off, soundgarden and rage were both fantastic bands who meshed to form a
"supergroup" who made one album true to RATM (i dont know, all ive heard is Cochise), and seems to have gone to make alot of commercial shhhiit (Be Yourself).

same thing goes for Velvet Revolver.

I'd say they we're rock. But yeah, I'd love to see them live once. I only really like the first album though. And the second is ok as well.

yeah, I feel the same way about audioslave. they did have a good song "cochese" released when they formed, but ever since they came out with that song, most of their stuff ended up very light-in-the-pants rock...... bore me half to death. RATM kicked ass, soundgarden kicked ass, youd think a supergroup of those two bands would kick ass too, but arent most supergroups lesser of the bands that comprised them?? think of asia........ what a crappy supergroup.

Hah, like thats every happening, Trent Reznor was producing it last i heard (3 years ago?) And Trent is REALLY slow with these things (tapeworm anyone?) I heard that song Zack wrote for Farenheit 9/11, not too good, shame though, Rage is one of my top 5 bands.

As for Audioslave, I really like that song 'Doesnt Remind Me'
