I've got some good 'uns: 'The American Sunbathing Association's Summer Annual 1955'. 'Nude Living: Elysium Press 1965'. 'Sundial' Elysium Press 1966. 'Health & Efficiency' March 1944 & 1961. 'The Naturist' January 1950. 'Sunshine & Health' Rev.Ilsley Boone Press 1950.
Nudist magazines? Of course I've got 'em--Nude & Natural comes 4 times a year. http://www.naturistsociety.com/magazine/index.jsp Incidentally, I've met two of the people on the cover of the latest issue, the one that's shown on the website. So why wasn't the option "I subscribe to one" in the poll? Nudist mags aren't necessarily ancient documents! Edited with the idea of "Why not just show 'em": http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/7851/nmagazine4dw.jpg
Thanks for those links. I want to scan some of the pages of my vintage naturist magazines because they are unique & rare innocent reminders of a time when family nudity wasn't confused with the current phobias & political correctness about family nude pics. Funnily enough - the black & white 'airbrushed' photo magazines from the 1940s-1950s are really sexy & more risque-looking than anything today.
The UK's leading "naturist" mag has the rather solemn title "Health and Efficiency", nowadays shortened to H&E. According to their website they started out in 1900 has a general healthy living magazine and have been promoting nudism since the 1920s. Never actually bought a copy myself.
