Yes, sometimes that happens to me too, and I hate it. I feel like I don't know what the hell I am doing!! It happens for me with both fabric projects, and knit/crochet too~~~ May the inspirational project vibes hit you like a ton of bricks!!!:)

whenever I have sewer's block I have a beer and focus on just cutting things out. sometimes I clean up my fabric stash or trim fabrics down to squares with a rotary cutter.

I find that when I don't have access to a machine, I come up with all kinds of things to sew. Though once my machines are accessable again...my brain becomes numb.

Maybe have a friend or relative take your machines for a little while or find an area in your home to store them away for several days until you come up with something.

yeah, I do that all the time. For a month or so, every piece of fabric that I bought (and this was some expensive fabric!!!), I'd mess up my pattern that I made, or I'd sew it backwards or do something just stupid.
I finally one day just threw everything in the corner and got out my crochet hooks again and started to make some stuff. After whiping up 3 baby sweaters, an afghan and a couple other little things, I just went back to my sewing machine and actually managed to sew a decient looking dress...
Sometimes just changing your hobby for a while, or finding something else, helps a ton. :)

lol i cant hide my machines, I have 4. one is in a table in the living room, it is an old flip down singer HAHA and there is even one in my bedroom closet HAHA they have taken over my house. luckily all i ruined was some cord from the thrift shop that cost me $2....

i tryed to knit and crochet but i can't, something just doesnt want me to figure out how to do it!

I've had that happen recently...it seems everything I make isn't fitting or turning out the way I planned...:(

I have to keep going though....I have to make 2 little suits for my boys and a ring bearer's pillow for my brother's wedding in August...:p Not to mention I have nothing to wear either..
