Did I get ripped off?

I'm in NY and I paid $125 for A bag of weed

I broke it out to 7 dubs (a $20 dub here is 1.4grams)

So should I have gotten more. Cause I sold it all and I only made $15 wtf.

Also if I did get ripped, how much are you suppose to get for 125

 

i take it that's nugget?
and make them dubs smaller if it's dank. If not, don't pay that much for it.

 

Its was "exotics", its pretty good weed. I guess I should have made the bag smaller, i dunno

Well, if you got 7 1.4 gram "dubs" out of it, then you paid $125 for about 10 grams.

Selling those out at $20, you will make $140. $15 doesn't sound like very good profit.

Sell just one gram for $20, and you will make $75 profit.

 

you should do the math and consider what your looking to make as far as profit, and what people will pay before you sell and come up shorter than you thought...

Through watching others over the years I have discovered that if you're going to sell weed and make any kind of money whatsoever, you have to buy at least a 1/2lb at a time. Otherwise, you'll only make back what you end up smoking anyhow.

 

When's the point, in buying, where you start to get more than you paid for?

 

depends on who you know. but you don't want to be paying more than ten bucks a gram yourself if you're gonna try and make money off it. you gotta know what the bag weighs before you buy it (the guy should weigh it out in front of you) and then do some math so you know how much to expect to make/smoke.

so to answer your ? if you got ripped off, i would say 125 for almost 10g isn't a bad price if it's good bud, but i would look to try to get more like 14g

 

If you made a profit, then you didn't get ripped off.

You paid $125. That could be right or wrong depending on the type of weed and the quantity. It also depends on the area you got the weed from. It also depends on the person you got it from. You just have to ask yourself if it was worth what you paid for it.

 

maybe if you get really cheap ounces, rip people off, and don't smoke a bit. buy a hp and see what he means.

 

its not particularly difficult to buy an ounce, sell enough to have made 20+ dollars, and end up with an eigth or so for free

 

but it would be particularly difficult to double your money on an ounce and smoke any.
