i don have a northern accent...not that im aware of i just say wicked alot and i do infact pronounce my r's
I have a very posh english accent, but I also flatten my vowels and a lot of words don't sound english at all, which is the zimbabwean influence of my parents....
hmm i don't really notice if i have an acent or not, i live in ontario so whatever ontario accent is i probably have..
shut up, i'm the most north. i talk a little funny, not because of where i live... just because i can't help it. i say house "hause", and fire "fayhr", and some other stuff that i never notice. but i'm sure other people do. and if you've ever seen angry beavers, i talk exactly like them.
Well, it was just a harbor, the sitka sound, a papermill, russian orthodox church, and a fishing wharf... some offices, bars, a hotel, a convinience store, and a mcdonald's... and a residential area, when I lived there. It was just a 20 mile stretch of gravel road on Baranoff Island. We moved to our family's farm here in Virginia when the papermill my dad at was about to shut down.
People from out east sound like Yankees... Meg said I sound like a "backwoods Canadian" I don't count...
when i go down south people can definitely tell im from the north. i have somewhat of an accent but its not a boston one
