I was wondering if any of you have ever tried a solderin-iron as a vaporizer. Right off the bat, I want to mention that it's the solder that releasees carcinogenic properties. There may be remnants of that on a normal tip, but I cleaned this one off with a file. Unless there's some sort of bat-shit-crazy thing else with solderin-iron tips, this should be completely safe.

The question is, will it work? I've checked the temperature with a meat-thermometer, and it's well above 392F. It can burn paper, so I would only assume it could vaporize weed if it was grinded finely enough (which it will be).

Anyone have experience with this? I want to try it when I finally can smoke again. Also, any quitters out there with me? I've had to quit smoking for a month now. :( I miss it so much. Being here doesn't help too much.

When it comes to vape's I usually say go for a good quality one or you will just be disappointed...cause its true.

Direct heat vape's are shit, they just burn the weed. Will it work though? Yes, but for how long, who knows. Mine broke after a month.
