well i think the guy who edited it is a bit racist too. talking about not to support blacks and how all black people hate white people. but yea, lots of people forget that non-whites can be racist too.

 

You are all correct, but what is damn damn messed up is that this was at Howard University and broadcast on C-Span. The mainstream media shows this kind of shit... that's one hell of a messed up double standard.

 

C-Span tries to cover almost all issues from all angles. It's up to the viewer to draw their own conclusions. They are the most open and free source of information and news available. They do not censor, they only present. I didn't actually see this presentation on C-Span so I withhold judgement until I check out what they have on their site.

as far as all the white hatered in this vid i have to say some things that i always have to remind my black friends about when they start up with all the slavery this slavery that stuff

• my grandfather didn't come to America till after the civil war
• here he was a extremely poor share cropper. which is what many former slaves did after gaining freedom.
• blacks arn't the only people who went though slavery. the Irish also were sold as slave for a short time.(read the book barbadosed)
• the irish were also used as slaves in england as "Indentured Servants". no pay, no quiting, no telling if they will ever let you go. sounds like slavery to me.
• Black poeple arn't the only poor people in america. ever been to a trailer park.

i grew up in a black area. who ever this guy is he don't know black people. i mean for real hes wearing a dashiki. thats what white college professors do when they have to talk about african culture.

it doesnt matter if its photoshopped or not, the point is that this speech was given at howard university, a very pro-black school. the video was broadcast on national television. what kind of school allows this kind of hate? That's what I find offensive and disgusting. I am worried about the kind of hate being taught in black universities. Its very scary. I find Bill Kristol offensive and his viewpoints not credibly backed up, but C-Span broadcasts him all the time. And usually his interviews aren't PhotoShopped for effect. And it does matter if what you are objecting to has been edited. Who's credibility are we judging C-Spans, or the creative artist that edited the little piece you are objecting to?

Back on topic, I found this guy to be extremely offensive, and yes, it was totally irresponsible to broadcast this nonsense...whether edited or not, he advocated genocide(!) so, whatever argument he was trying to advance, you cannot achieve anything positive with this mentality that one race is better than the other. God put ALL of us here together, and the reason for that is so that we could figure out a way to get along, not kill each other.
