Which is funnier?

So I'm making a short film for a little film festival my friend Matt thought up. mine is a little short thingy about a guy (me) with no friends. One scene involves a No Friends Anonymous meeting in which he is the only atendee.

Which is funnier, if he is the only guy there and there is a bunch of chairs in a circle, or he is the only guy there sitting in the only chair? (poll coming)

 

Ahahaha, the second one, for sure.

 

I don't think neither are really that funny, but I chose the second one.

 

The first one might be too distracting, but you might want to film both and see which works.

 

woops...I didn't read what you wrote, I thought you meant in general and I was like well now that's just stupid! But they're both funny now...

 

One chair would be funnier as if it's set up like...the people who go will have no friends anyway, but the first is more realistic..except that noone came..

And yeah, Lodui, I might film both, but I think I may have to search for chairs around my old high school, so that is why I was asking for opinins on just one chair so it will be easier on me...

Yeah, (in both options) he stands up and says "Hi, I'm Trevor. I have no friends", then hangs his head and stis down...then if the time in my final movie permits I am goin to get my dad to walk in and go "uhhh, can you get out of here now?"
