REMINDER: most fireworks are illegal in Colorado

    if it leaves the ground or makes really loud noises, it's illegal.
    Given the fire conditions, if a ban gets passed, POSSESSION of fireworks (even the legal variety) is a big fat up to $600 fine.

    I'd suggest leaving 'em back in Babylon.

    I also think we should discourage fireworks, there is already enough pressure for everyone to sign fire permits, we don't need the fs on our backs for fireworks too, the firedancers are amazing enough! CANT WAIT TO BE HOME?

    rainbows never welcomed fireworks & frankly i've never missed em..i remember 1 year someone set off a few near main circle & it was really just annoying

    ...and they also scare the hell out of some of the dogs. My X and I lost a dog in PA when she ran off from the fireworks,and got bitten by a snake. But, of course, idjits that would set off fireworks at a Gathering probably aren't courteous enough to care about someone else's dog...
