I've noticed a few people mention their disappointment that people in this forum aren't as crafty as they used to be... at least not in here.... So why not list a few things that you're making right now? What are your current projects? What are you making? Post instructions and picks if you can! I just finished knitting this shrug: http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/50735.html?noImages= as well as a baby blanket for my friend's baby's baptism...
Cerridwen - I can't see the pics Here's what I made today, I got the tutorials from Craftster... (sorry bout the huge post!) Hobo bag inside Hobo Bag full view Bi-fold wallet inside Bi-fold wallet closed. C'mon the rest of ya! Show us your stuff!
I'm working on a lace over-skirt made from hemp and a really funky bikini. I don't have any pics yet but will post some ASAP!
Lazuli, that bag is absolutely fantastic. Wow! At the moment my boyfriend and I are working on handcarving some wooden dreadlock beads and he is also using nettle twine for bracelets and other jewellery using these beads. I'm not as experienced at carving as he is though, so I got a nasty little injury to my thumb a few weeks ago with a knife that still hasn't healed, so I've been holding off on the carving until it's better.
I am crocheting some leg warmers and a huge sweater. Almost done with both. I will post the pictures. I am (for the first time ever) trying to design some items for me to crochet. Oh! and I am making Thai fisherman pants. I made one pair already and I love them. I just have to make the rest.
I have been doing some soaps lately, and I so much in love with that craft! 1. is an oliveoil-sheabutter soap, with a very tender lavender scent from real lavender flowers 2. mixed plant oils, with hempoil and hempseeds, for some scratchin' haha, smells like........ eeeemm kinda hempy? ;-) 3. Artificially scented grapefruit 4. coffee-soap for da kitchen anyone wanna trade?
Your soaps look wonderful and they sound like they would smell gorgeous too have you ever made any that would be good for washing hair?
That soap looks yummy I havent had a whole lot of time to craft, with work and dance and all, but I did make this costume bra and I took a belt that Suzie made and added some chains and bones to it. Then theres the panel skirt that you can't see in this shot. (I'll try and find a better one Heres a pic of my friend Christina and I, (she made her outfit too) (I'm on the left side of Ganesh) http://myspace-890.vo.llnwd.net/00848/09/80/848270890_l.jpg
