Is astral projection safe? Has anyone ever done anything they have regreted and not being aware of it or having no control over it. I was going to order this but I didn't want to waste the money if it's not safe. Check it out http://www.witchcraftmagic.com/astralprojection.htm
hummm. astral travel, i had my doubts about that when i was a lil younger, but i tried for myself and had some results... dont buy any crap about astral projection, its a meditation and concentration, and mostly visualization techniques you need, it can be learned without anything other then your mind. ive had great experiences, only had 2 succesful projections though, its very hard to do, and it took me like 3 months of practice every night before i actually projected from a lucid dream... just dont get scared when you're in the splitting progress man i should start getting back to this stuff... ive had the weirdest things happen to me when i practied astral travelling.
It's perfectly safe, but you don't have to waste your money on that. from that site: Those thousands and thousands of people didn't have to pay for anything, and were still able to astral project. That site seems like a scam to me.
Oh, and here's a site that gives a couple different methods for astral projection: http://www.crystalinks.com/astral.html
I read a book about astral projection once. The closest I came to it was having lucid dreams, dreams where you are aware that you are dreaming and your body is flying through the air over fields and towns looking down on everything, but your in complete control of everything and your able to go anywhere you want. I always wake up from those types of dreams feeling a sense of real well-being and almost euphoric for some strange reason.
physically it is as safe as dreaming....on an energetic level though it can be dangerous if you dont know what your doing or where your going....but then again thats only if you choose to fear, and live in negetivity. we are gods on the astral, and have complete control (the physical as well, but thats a matter of remembering) and with that knowledge and with love in your heart you will be safe.
i heard its possible to not be able to get back to your body and 'lose your mind' with astral projection, is this true? Will we be safe if we are without fear?
it happened to me all of a sudden and i can do it without practice and it's crazy to think that it can cause any kind of harm
I used to try astral projecting, never had much results though. I should get back into it. I did manage to have a lucid dream once, which was a pretty amazing experience. But yeah, I don't think there's any point buying anything for it.
not true.... the astral plane is generally safe. its like the physical in a way. there are places you want to be and places that breed negetivity. if you are in a negetive headspace or are fearful you will be in a place much the same on the astral. like atracts like.
Usually you will be ok, still, you have to be careful when astral projecting. I know two people who went crazy from doing that stuff. And several powerful medicine people couldn't bring them back. If you don't know what you are doing you can inadvertently set a place for evil to come in. You really don't want weird spirits flying around your head. I also have reason to believe that a woman of my acquaintance recently left her body and couldn't get back in. Somehow the door got shut. In common terms, she was dead. She was young too. Only in her early 40s. You should probably get some solid training before you start flying around the astral planes. Tom Brown's Awakening spirits is a good place to start. You can do lots and lots with his sacred silence meditation. It is safe and will help you get some experience before you set out for the wilderness. You also might want to locate some sort of solid more traditional spiritual practice. A genuine lakota sweat lodge works well. A solid chi gung or yoga practice would probably also be good. What happens is if you develop a strong spiritual core that helps to protect you when you are out flying around the astral planes. Hope this helps. Have good safe travels. Junco
iv had a bunch of lucid dreams there wicked sick. i havent been able to astal project but iv been close. i love when it hits that point and you realize "wow this is a lucid dream i can control what im doing"
I projected for my first time not last thanksgiving, but the one before that, so in 2004. I "rolled" out of my body while taking a nap and was flying through space. It felt *exactly* like real life, but that was the my most lucid experience. I had one other "real-time" projection here in my room which was really sweet but I couldn't get through the wall, door or ceiling (I couldn't leave my room) so I just sat and looked at everything in my room, because it was all different. I personally think it is harmless. If you really f up you might be in trouble but I think it's hard to pin that specifically on astral projection. Your "true being" is indestructable and if you move with love in your heart as the other poster mentioned you will be fine. Even though I've read about negative entities in the astral I'm never scared just becuase I know God or the life force or whatever you want to call him/it would never let anything devastating happen. yeah and most of those "learn to project in 7 easy steps!" is not necessary. just buy a book on it and meditate. Although, I have heard that some of those brain-wave generators help people get into different states. There are forums at http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/index.php that talk about AP, lucid dreaming, meditation, etc. It is Robert Bruce's website. I recommend his book "Astral Dynamics." Oh yeah and don't be scared when you are separating. It can be frightening. Right before I separated once I heard tons of voices from all over...it was actually more interesting than anything, but Robert Bruce mentions in his book that you can actually feel like you dying because of the energy transfers that are going on and all that jazz - never experienced it though, so I can't say for sure. brad
