Bong Accessories

I was wondering if an ash catcher and a diffuser help out alot on bongs. If they do help out alot I was wondering where I can get accessories for my blue dot online, cuz I don't feel like driving down to chicago just to get some stuff.

 

the ash catcher in my opinion its useless and the diffuser well as roor says its a milder smoking experience

 

I couldnt disagree more. A diffuser is essential (as in it makes a noticeable difference) in how much smoother you can make your smoking experience. It is one of the main reasons so many people dig roors because as soon as they use a diffuser as a stem you can feel how noticeably smooth your hit is (well that and the sick glass on glass design). It actually threw me off the first time I used it because after getting one for my DZL bong it now hits VERY similar to my roor whereas before it was sick piece but def. not the same hit as a roor.

As far as ash catchers go.. its an extra chamber and with my roor it makes the hits too dangerous to handle! Like I can have just the diffuser and take rips and be able to go to school, work, etc. With the ashcatcher I usually take one giant hit, cough my ass off and lay there in a nicely stoned semi-coma. Its bad ass but not something you can do all the time.

 

but can you take as big hits with the diffuser i usually pack max 3 big ass one hit bowls at max, does it just make em smoother

 

Yeah it doesnt limit how big your hits are.. if you can snap an entire bowl without the diffuser you can do it with one too. Thats just your lung capacity.. it has about 6 to 8 tiny holes at the base of the stem which makes the smoke "diffuse" or release differently than stems with the one main hole... which all normal bongs have. I wish I knew the physics behind it because then I could explain it better but it def does not make ur hits smaller, just smoother.

 

All my bongs accessories are just pretty ribbons and hairties and shit around the base... lol...

 

I think the diffuser helps because when the bubbles come out there's a bunch more of them. That means that more surface area of the bubbles is touching the water so more of the nasty shit can get taken out.

It makes sense, but then again I am stoned right now

 

eh...i never found interest in that kind of stuff...rather just save my money for more bud, packa bowl and take some hits. gets me high and thats all i want.

 

ash catcher will help keep the bong much cleaner and easier to take care of.
