Interesting question. The answer depends on what your problems are. Fulvic acid is very delicate, doesn't last long in the soil. Plants can pick it up as it emulates CO2. It really is a good material, if properly manufactured (there is a bunch of garbage on the market). It is good if you have sands or sandy loams. It holds metals, calcium, magnesium and the micrometals zinc, iron and manganese. It also helps hold potassium. You can cut your fertilizer costs greatly by using a good combination of fulvic/humic acid. Mix it with your fertilizers. It is similar to using a really well made compost tea without the work.
