Alrighty folks, I was thinking we should create a soundtrack type mix tape thing.... (sorta dazed and confused..) And since the forums allow total input, SO
What songs MUST be included on a smoking cd? lets vote on each other's suggetsions so we get a collective selection (lol)
SO I think one of the songs should be roads by portishead because it's absolutely chillin. other ideas are d. and c. by led zepplin,a nd smoke on the water by deep purple :p

Some nice tunes have been picked so far...has anyone picked Jeff Buckley yet? Grace is an amazing album, I love putting that on when I'm having a smoke!

I'm a big fan of Nick Drake too...if you've not heard any of his stuff yet you must beg, borrow or steal some! It's a really chilled out kind of folk...sublime acoustic guitar...perceptive lyrics...the man was a genius!

Erm...i'm starting to have mental blank now...must be the jay i've just put out...doh! I'll try a list a few of my faves

    Donald Byrd - Cantaloupe Island
    Beck - Sea Change Album
Fleetwood Mac - Oh Well & Albatross (acoustic)
Jimmy Hendrix - Angel, Red House, Castles Made Of Sand, Hear My Train A Comin (infact pretty much anything Hendrix!)
    Jimmy Smith - Midnight Special
Led Zep - Too Many to choose from!
    Lynard Skynard - Freebird
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing (Hendrix Cover)
    Kyuss - Space Cadet

Aww man the list is endless...but you get the picture!

    :)
