I'm Loraine (new here ) and I'm very interested in the hippie culture, hippie art etc. Now I am writing an article about love and peace in the hippie culture, but I can't find an answer on one question: From what/which religion does the hippies get inspiration to make art ? inspiration doesnt come from any certain religion,,,i suppose it can,,,,there are no boundries on inspiration,,,a simple leaf can inspire someone.
yeah inspiration can come from any where, alot of hippies find their inspiration from nature and drugs, my inspiration comes from the frustration of a meaningless life, even though that doesnt show in my work.
hmm, as with the others, i guess inspiration for "hippie art" comes from a multitude of sources..... i've deffo seen a lot of art that draws inspiration from the Gaia movement tho' thread about it here
