is bird flu over yet?

Bird flu shhhmird flu.... I'm not worried, and I'm quite a hypochondriac.

It is also believed that bird flu, if mutated, will work much like other more "serious" viruses [mumps, chicken pox or like pnuemonia] and only be very dangerous to those who are in poor health [very young babies, old people]

They say only 100 people died from bird flu so far.... but they never tell you the ratio of how many survived. People have probably gotten it without even knowing, because if they were in good health, it didn't affect them as much.

I seriously wouldn't worry that much....

Oh yeah, and another thing, the more you worry about it, the higher your chances are of getting it, because worry and stress lowers your immunities. So yeah...it would probably be a good idea NOT to freak out over it

 

The last I heard it was finally transfered from person to person, however, the virus has not yet mutated.

 

Bird flu was a hoax.

 

And aliens live amongst us. Everything is a conspiracy.

 

i agree. i don't think it's going to get any worse or really spread out from the 3rd world countries it's in right now.

Don't panic.

The news has to report something to get people to watch.

People feel compelled to watch if their doom is impending.

The more ppl that watch, the more money they get from advertisers.

 

I have an ex-boyfriend who was looking for an excuse to throw away his future. He was going to move state-side, where he had a long term, full time job booked as well as a decent apartment in which to live. But all of a sudden he had a series of fits over asian bird flu!

Millions of people are dying! It's crazy contagious! Everyone in the northern states is supposed to be dead within five years!

Biida, aren't you terrified? I'm not moving anymore because I am so paranoid! Isn't that fucking WONDERFUL?!

And then I broke up with him. I'll think about fearing the bird flu when people are dropping dead to my left, right and center.
