Im growing a few plants they are about 3 weeks old and have 6 sets of leafs on most of them. I placed them outside a few days agow because i was planning on transplanting them, but overnight many leafs wilted and dryed out......so i cut the dryed/wilted leafs and moved them back indoors. some only have 2 sets of leafs left..is there any chance they will live or even produce anything? any help would be great
When you move plants from indoors to outside, you need to do what's called "hardening them off". That means getting them used to the harsher conditions outside (bright sunlight, wind, tempature fluctuations etc) over the course of 4--5 days. Take them out for like 2 hrs the first day, 4 hours the next, etc., before leaving them out full-time. What probably hurt your plants was the intense sunlight outside. They should recover if you put them back inside until they get better then try again, hardening them off first this time.
