not exactly a random thought, but dnt know where to put this desparate thought:
how do i get rid of/really make less obvious, a hickey on the neck?
(long hair not a option.

lol......i dont believe there really is a way to get "rid" of a hickey. Maybe not getting one in the first place might be an option.

anyways, been there done this, nothing worked for me. you can lighten it up with makeup, pending on how dark it is, it will still semi show.

 

Just don't get them on your neck. The ones on other more fun places on the body are easier to hide.

Everytime I see some chick with hickies on her neck it makes me think of redneck trailer trash.

hahaha everytime my freind comes over she has a hickey on her neck...we are no longer freinds after i called her a pussy for always getting a hickey there.

yeah, try foundation and powder, probably the only route that might work
try that green stick thing if it has some red/orangey tones

 

Wash with warm soap & water use neosporin to keep infection at bay, and put an ice pack on it to reduce the swelling.

warm compress and then...i know this sounds silly...but immediately comb it out from the middle. it might take a couple days but it works.

 

ugh, i can't stand hickies. i once dated a girl who was an absolute fucking vampire, drove me insane. i'm lucky i have long hair, i just put tons of makeup on them. they were still noticeable though. just wear a fashionable kerchief or something, way obvious but better than a big purple welt.

 

a lot of cover up will lighten it... and well, from now on, only get hickeys during scarf-wearing seasons.
