The Old toss and wait?

Iv been planning on growing for about 3 weeks, i have about 4-8 seeds and was wondering if it would be ok to just go out in the back (my house is fenced in) dig a 6 inch hole somewhat disperesed plant all the seeds around that with little but sum spacing, water everyday let it sit. Can i expect anything "smokable" within 2 months? ty for the help.

I guess this "planning" didn't incude finding out anything about growing pot. If you had spent a few minutes reading a grow guide, you would have found out that:
-You have to prep/till the soil.
-Seeds get planted 1/2" deep.
-Weed needs 4--6 weeks of veg and 2 months to bud.
If you want to grow weed outdoors, better get started now (by reading a grow guide)--it's only 6 days til the summer soltice (June 21) and you should have the seeds in the ground by then.
