That's a real eye openner, too bad most of the American public is oblivious to it. And continue to spend on items that really don't enrich their lives, but put their quality of life in jeopardy.

But after 9/11 what were we told to do to help?...continue spending, says a lot about the priorities of the administration.

That's why abortion and flag burning have come up recently. Marketing hasn't changed much over the years has it, and yet we still fall for it.

No actually, Zeplin I do believe you are right
It is a bit sad that people wrap up perfectly good arguments
in a way that will not sell them to the people. Calling yourself a leftist
just alienates those who see the left as a threat. Isnt it just better to
put the argument forward and let other people decide where it
sits on the political scales?
