Did anyone join the protest for the South Central Farmers in LA?? If so, what was it like? I know that Julia Butterfly Hill was there as was Daryl Hannah.
I wasn't there but I completely support the cause. Fighting for farmers and for preserving farmland is a cause that we should all take very seriously. Our nation is losing farmland every day mostly due to urban expansion and we need to do everything we can to preserve what we have left. The fact that these people were conducting agricultural activities in a place like L.A. is amazing, and these farmers definitely need our support. I would like to have been at the L.A. rally, but it looks like I'll have to keep my part of the campaign on the local level.
