and in the 60s there was so much happening, baroque period was cool, i just love romanticism and modernity in gerneral
Boudelaire and Degas and being a photographer i love the newness of photography
the 60s is where its at for me...

In many subjects, the 19th century (specially the final decades) was awesome...but I say that today, looking back in time...maybe I'd have a different opinion after seeing children working 12 hours a day in a coal mine to keep going the industrial revolution...anyway, one thing is certain - elites then were better today's....but the life of comun people wasn't much of a life at all...

 

I miss the word "than"........elites then were better than today's..............
And by the way, impressionists were the greatest painters, but lousy lovers...(ó_ò)...
